Devoss family - great end to a great year

I am finishing off this year, 2010, with my very last session of the year with the Devoss family. I am proud my photography career has taken off this year, and I thank you for following me on this journey. I am so looking forward to showing you all the exciting things to come in the new year!

It was so much fun to meet and get to know this family during our session. I returned back to one of my favorite locations, Cedar Ridge Preserve. I loved the rustic feel of this location and this family's crisp white shirts, jeans and boots really brought out that rustic feel.

There were so many great pictures form this session, that it was hard to choose the ones I wanted to post. Thank you Devoss family for helping finish out the year. I hope you enjoy this sneak peek.

Thibodeaux Family

This was my very favorite picture from my session with my good friends Scott and Mavenee and their kids.

My family has been close to the Thibodeauxs for over eight years now. Scott is the youth minister at our church in Duncanville. When we first started attending Duncanville over eight years ago, Mavenee was one of the first ladies I met there.

Our families have made lots of memories. Probably one of the biggest memories, we share, is our camping adventures together, but those adventures are for another story.

My Abby and Everett have been so blessed to have Sophie and Graham as good friends.

It was such a joy to take your family pictures. I hope our families have many more good times and adventures ahead of us.

Fullerton Family Kids

I thoroughly enjoyed this session. I am sure it had all to do with the fact that the Fullerton's are just the best kids and so cooperative. It is funny because their mom texted me right before the session and said, I hope Brandon, (three years old) cooperates. I was prepared with some bubbles and lots of fun, but he did give us plenty of smiles.

Earlier I had planned to do this session at the park, but changed my mind and went to this old bridge. I thought the girls plaid shirts were adorable for this location. It was so cute Brandon kept looking around and asking where the park was. Poor thing, I forgot to mention I changed my plans.

I had planned earlier to use this old frame. I had my car loaded up and was ready to leave, then at the last minute I realized I forgot my frame. I got a little dusty searching my attic for it, but this pic turned out to be a favorite.

Gracie - Dallas and Ft. Worth Children's Photographer

It is hard to believe these girls are nine years old. It seems like just yesterday they were babies in the church nursery. Gracie has been Abby's close friend for about eight years. As babies they looked a lot a like. They both had cute curly hair and were confused as each other by others at church.

Over the last eight years it has been a joy to watch these girls make memories. They've enjoyed and shared birthday parties, church camps, first day of kindergarten, sleep overs and many other events. We are looking forward to many more memories these girls will share.

Happy ninth birthday to Gracie! I am so happy you made Abby a part of your ninth birthday photo session. I hope you enjoy your pictures!

Duncanville MDO proofs

To all you Duncanville Mother's Day Out Parents, your kids are adorable, Thank you so much for letting me take their pictures. We had so much fun! And I hope I got a shot that captured your little one and their cute personalities, a picture you will cherish forever.

I will be at Duncanville Church during MDO drop off and dismissal on October 27. At this time you will be able to view proofs and have the opportunity to purchase a CD or prints. I will have all prices available at that time.

I hope that you will consider me for your future photography needs! Thanks again!

Rasmussen Brothers

I first got to know this sweet family, a few years back when their mommy was my daughter's first grade teacher. My kids have had the opportunity to go to school with these boys and have play dates.

Their dad is a coach, and they were all about sports. They were so much fun to watch. They had a blast just tossing the football and wrestling on the grass. Each of them wanted to take their turn for a picture wearing the helmet and holding the football. They are such cute boys!

Sanders Family

This was a family session I did for some really good friends of ours. Jared and my husband have been great friends since high school. We have lots of great memories with the Sanders family: our weddings, weekend get aways and of course we had the privilege to be their next door neighbors for a few years.

Since we moved from Venus, we rarely get to spend time with them, but I just loved watching them interact with their 7 month old baby, Jackson. I didn't doubt they would be such fun and great parents.

For this session I got to take my own kids with me to the park to help with pictures. My kids had so much fun making Jackson smile and laugh. He was so full of smiles and giggles. What a little cutie!
