Autumn Sunset Wedding, Dallas, Ft. Worth Wedding Photographer

What an honor to be a part of this lovely couple's special day and what a beautiful wedding. I absolutely love fall! You couldn't ask for better weather on this day. It was a perfect day to get married.

Megan and Mike shared a small ceremony with close family friends. The beautiful park and sunset backdrop added that special touch to a perfect ceremony.

Afterwards the couple celebrated the day indoors with family and friends. The evening included dinner and dancing. I really enjoyed watching this couple celebrate with friends and family. Megan and Mike have lots of nieces and nephews, and they all enjoyed requesting songs to the D.J. and letting loose on the dance floor. What a blast this evening was. Megan and Mike, thank you for letting me be a part of it!

Family Session in Waxahachie - Dallas and Ft. Worth Family Photographer

This was one of my first fall family sessions of the season. After a long, hot summer, with no rain in sight, I wondered what kind of fall we would get.  With not a whole lot of pretty fall vegetation in Texas, we had a hard time deciding on a spot for our session.
After talking with the family on the phone we decided we wanted a rustic, country spot for our session. We started at this old railroad bridge and train stop. I was thrilled when the family wanted to go take some at this nearby farm. I love trying out new spots and the lighting was wonderful. I think the setting fit this family perfectly!

Newborn Session with Lucy - Dallas, Ft. Worth Newborn Photographer

This past summer was the hottest summer on record for us in Texas. Mid August I had the opportunity to do Melody’s maternity session. As hot as it was I couldn’t imagine her going too much longer, but it was four weeks before I heard that little Lucy had arrived.
At just 10 days old, I was able to do Lucy’s newborn session in her home and in her room. Lucy’s room had such a cute bird theme décor. We were also able to use some family heirlooms they had in their home as props.  I love that we were able to use these heirlooms and things that were special to Melody in these pictures.

Madison, High School Senior - Dallas, Ft. Worth High School Senior Photographer

Madison is Duncanville High school, 2012, senior. I haven’t known her very long, but I have really enjoyed getting to know her for her session. It was so easy to let Madison’s personality shine through in her session.  She is such a fun and outgoing person.  As you can see she is beautiful too! Did I mention she also likes photography?
